got a text from this number back in november saying there was a payment from a device i hadn’t used. they told me to reply if it wasn’t me. pretty obvious it was just a scam trying to get info.

Got a text supposedly from Halifax but I don’t even have an account with them! I'd say don’t bother replying or tapping any links they send.

They say they’re from Halifax but they’re definitely not. Total scammers trying to trick you. Just block their number and don’t respond to any messages they send. They’re just after your info.
