Out of nowhere, this dodgy character just dropped us a message saying ‘text me’. I naively assumed it was one of my mates and shot back with ‘who’s this?’. They responded claiming to be called ‘Alan’. Then they went on to grill us with a barrage of personal questions, kicking off with 'Are you male or female?'. We pressed them on how they got our number, and just like that, they went completely silent. What a peculiar situation!

Drop us a quick 'hello'. This is the second occurrence within just a handful of months. Having spent time in the telecoms sector ourselves, we suspect this could be a network conducting tests to gauge responses for potential cold calls ahead of an advertising blitz. For example, messages related to dating. In short, just ignore them entirely!

Received a flurry of texts throughout the evening, probing for details like size, gender, and age. They keep pestering for a response. The messages do pause momentarily around 2am until about 9am, but they don’t answer when I try to call back.

I received a text from this number that simply said, "Text me." Initially, I thought it was someone I knew who often sends such messages, so I replied. Before long, another text followed, asking whether I was male or female. I explained that they'd clearly got the wrong number, but that didn't deter them at all! They just seem to be firing off messages to any random digits in their phone, hoping to strike up a conversation with a live person!

I’m absolutely chuffed to have stumbled upon this site! We just received a text from this number, and upon searching for it, we discovered our names linked to it. Funny enough, we encountered the same situation back in July with the very same number!

It appears this issue has not yet been resolved. I'm quite chuffed we stumbled upon this site. We received a text saying 'Text me', but we've chosen not to respond, and we've made the decision to stick with that.

Received a message from this number late at night, around half past eleven, simply saying “text me.” So, naturally, we shot back asking, “Who’s this?” The response was rather odd, asking if I was male or female. We followed up with “What are you?” to which they retorted, “I text you first.” I pointed out, “Don’t you mean we, not r?” Then they affirmed, “I’m male, and you?” To which I cheekily asked, “Are you gay?” And now, crickets! What a strange turn of events, eh? Absolutely ridiculous!

Blimey, this person really caught me off guard! Who on earth is this weirdo? Earlier today, I received a random message with just a 'hi' - nothing more. Then, they went on to ask for my name, gender, and age, and they were rather pushy about wanting pictures. Do these folks really just scroll through numbers and start messaging anyone? It’s rather pathetic, if you ask me!

Indeed, I received a message from this number on the evening of 11th April at precisely 10:15pm. The message simply read, "Txt me." We chose not to respond, suspecting it was yet another predatory premium rate scam or something of that sort, typical of those pesky "callstream" nuisances.
