Received a rather dubious call claiming to be from BT, which I can assure you was a load of nonsense. They claimed my internet security was breached and someone was pilfering my personal details. The caller had the audacity to inquire about my broadband service and the number of gadgets connected to it! I decided to entertain her for a bit as I had the spare time. She became quite irate when I let slip that I was part of the Openreach team, suggesting my expertise was being doubted. Just a word of warning - genuine BT calls regarding internet issues are about as likely as a snowstorm in July! They’d only ring if there was an actual service complaint, not some sensationalised scare tactic. Stay vigilant!
