I just got a message claiming to be from Halifax, but I don’t even have an account with them! The text said something along the lines of: "HALIFAX ALERT: A new payment recipient has been added to your application. If you recognise this, feel free to disregard this notification. If it wasn't you, please cancel at once at: securepayee-link.com." I’m left quite puzzled as to how they got my details!
