Someone called saying our Amazon Prime subscription had run out and we owed over £90. We know it’s dodgy because we don’t even have Amazon Prime! They keep ringing from different Chelmsford area codes (01245-), and sometimes we get like four or five calls in a single afternoon from these numbers. This was the first time they used a mobile number though. Definitely a scam.

Someone gave me a ring but never told me who they were. I’m completely clueless about who might be behind that number.

Got a call from this number, and the bloke who answered sounded quite polite and Asian. He was pretending to be from my bank and tried to wiggle out my account info. Fishy as anything.

I received a pre-recorded message claiming to be from my bank, alerting me to some suspicious activity on my account. Apparently, there were two transactions today: one for £300 at Amazon and another for £1,100 concerning an international money transfer. Obviously, it’s just a scam call!
