Picked up the landline and there was nothing but could hear the line was live. Just ended the call straight away. These annoying calls are driving me mad. Usually, I just yell "Go away" into the phone at the top of my voice. Being on the telephone preference service honestly doesn't seem to help at all.

Sounds like scammers have been tricking people by pretending to be someone else using this number. It’s probably a real person’s personal phone, judging by the voicemail they left. These fraudsters are calling folks from that number to cover their tracks, making it really difficult to find out who they actually are. Poor person having their number misused like that!

Someone's been spoofing this number for scams. The real owner actually changed their voicemail to warn callers that it's being used fraudulently, so don't trust any calls from it.

Got a recorded call about my landline being about to get cut off. So I pressed 1 to hear more and then a woman with an Indian accent asked me for my name. I told her I wasn’t the person on the account, that it was my husband, and then she just ended the call on me.
