Over the last week or so, Virgin Media kept calling our landline a few times. My wife picked up and said they should talk to me instead. The number didn't look like a typical Virgin Media one, which made me a bit wary. So today, I finally answered. They mentioned my upload speed wasn’t quite what it should be. Then they asked me to install some app on my phone, but I didn’t catch the name properly. I told them I already have the Virgin Media app, so why would I need another one? That’s when the woman with a strong accent, maybe Indian, just cut the call off. Felt pretty weird.
