The moment we expressed hesitation and inquired about her request for our bank details, she turned quite aggressive and overly insistent when we refused to provide any. We made it clear we weren’t interested and promptly ended the call.

I received a call from this number earlier today, where a woman named Amanda claimed to be affiliated with Alliance. She was quite insistent about persuading us to alter our mobile phone insurance. However, the moment we inquired about her intentions regarding our bank details, her demeanour shifted dramatically; she became rather aggressive and overly persistent. We simply weren't keen to share that information with her. After firmly expressing our disinterest, we decided to hang up the phone.

An overseas gentleman phoned us claiming to be from a company that helps facilitate refunds for bank fees. To say we are quite sceptical would be an understatement; he rattled off a wealth of our details that we hadn’t even provided. It’s quite baffling how he came by that information. We’ve since contacted our bank, and they confirmed that there’s no such organisation involved in these types of arrangements. Quite concerning, to say the least!
