I just received a rather dubious call from a chap inquiring about an update on my computer. Naturally, I pressed him for more details regarding which device he meant and casually mentioned that I work in IT. Strangely enough, he promptly disconnected the call. I suspect this is nothing more than a scam - if someone starts prattling on about computer updates, don’t hesitate to hang up. They’re likely fishing for access to your system or trying to peddle something dodgy. Best to steer clear!
