I had the exact message too, but I’ve never been with 02, so it’s clearly a scam. I just blocked the number straight away and didn’t bother clicking any links.

I got a dodgy phishing text claiming to be from O2, saying they couldn’t handle my recent bill and I should update my payment details to dodge extra charges. The link looked really sketchy, like: [#]0O(###].5902inv[###}/202=2 - with a confusing mix of zeros, lower case o’s, and upper case O’s all jumbled up. A legit text wouldn’t have such weird inconsistencies. Be careful out there!
