Just got a call from what said was my bank telling me a payment was declined. Seemed a bit off and sketchy to me. Definitely felt dodgy, so I didn’t give out any info.

I checked with my bank and turns out these calls and messages were all scams. The person on the phone spoke really clearly, in perfect English, and was very pushy. They even threatened to cancel all my cards if I didn’t provide info. While chatting, they’d send texts trying to make it look legit. Honestly, I can easily imagine quite a few getting tricked by this.
