Got a weird call out of nowhere yesterday arvo. It was some robotic woman’s voice saying that someone had made an unauthorised payment from my account, like £600 sent abroad or something. She said my debit card was blocked and that if I pressed 1, I’d get told how to fix it. Didn’t hang around to hear more and just ended the call. I checked my bank balance later and it was all fine, no funny business. Totally a dodgy scam trying to nab my bank stuff. No way I’m falling for that.
