Got called by some bloke who was proper rude, definitely a scammer.

I just got a ring from this number. Seems like it’s a firm chasing up debts for small businesses, probably for money that folks haven’t paid yet.

So this caller says they’re from Phoenix Debt Recovery, a debt collection company. I looked them up on Companies House and found a firm with the same name, company number 11040881. It was set up on 31/10/17 but got forcibly removed on 2/4/19. The address listed is 6 Evesham Close, Liverpool, L25 7GA. I’ve heard about a Liverpool company called CLS involved in scamming loads of folks over the years, maybe there’s some connection here.
