Got a text from this number claiming to be O2, but the link they sent was clearly dodgy and not from O2 at all. Definitely a scam, so I just blocked the number straight away. Funny thing is, I don’t even use O2!

Got a text message that looked like it came from O2, telling me to get in touch through their website to stop my account being closed. I'm not even an O2 customer, so it was clearly a con. I saved their number under my contacts and then blocked it right away. Then last week, my wife got a nearly identical message but pretending to be from EE. We did the same thing with that one too.
