This number rang me a short while ago, with the caller pretending to be from Microsoft. The person had an Asian accent and insisted my computer was compromised. I don’t even use broadband myself; my laptop connects through my husband’s wi-fi, which has top-notch and costly security in place. I've had loads of these calls before, all supposedly Microsoft but coming from different numbers. They all sound like scams to me. This bloke just wouldn’t stop talking, so I ended up just hanging up on him!
