Got a call just after midnight from someone saying they were from Barclaycard, saying they stopped a £900 payment to Argos. They asked me to press 1 to verify my card info. I quickly checked my online banking and found no payments pending or declined, plus no alerts from them. Definitely a scam, much like the fake Amazon calls that’ve been going around.
