I ended the call quickly, but then I looked at my Amazon account and noticed that today (22/07/24) is actually when my Prime subscription renews. Thing is, I pay monthly, not yearly, and if it was yearly it would be £95, not £79.99. So watch out, these scammers might somehow know when your membership is due and try to trick you with a fake discounted renewal offer.
