Some bloke rang me with a thick foreign accent, said he was from Sky and mentioned there'd been odd login attempts messing with my broadband. He reckoned that might be why my internet had been slower lately, which is true, it's been rubbish the last few weeks. At first, he told me to check my router but didn’t actually ask me to do anything. Then he wanted me to download some app on my phone. As soon as I said no way to that, he just cut the call straight away.
