3 years20/12/23, 1417. Got a call from a woman named Sarah, who said she was calling from BT. She claimed they could reduce my bill by 30%. Because I pay by direct debit, she said she needed to verify my bank details to adjust the payment. I purposely gave her fake bank info, and she pretended to check it. Then she tried to confirm my account by reading out the first 4 digits on the bottom of my bank card, calling it the sort code, and asked for the next 3 numbers.
