The con artists are still operating, and they’re using email addresses like [email protected] and [email protected]. The phone number in question has a filtering system that enables her to screen out unwanted calls. When she’s had enough of a conversation, she simply blocks your number. As for those so-called campers, they undeniably exist; T&T does relate to them, but they may not be hers. I suspect there could be a link to an entity known as DubMonkey from Kingston upon Hull, as they’ve shared information about vehicles that she’s listing. However, trying to reach DubMonkey via phone proves impossible. It’s also worth noting that she has a London-based bank account that appears to be linked to various PayPal accounts. Honestly, one has to question the integrity of these banks and their security measures!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amy Paterson, but it turned out to be a total scam.

The con is still making the rounds, it seems.

I’ve come across a rather dodgy situation involving someone flogging motorhomes on eBay that appear to be nothing more than a figment of their imagination. It’s puzzling, to say the least! They’ve sent me a text directing me to reach out to this email: [email protected]. However, it seems the name associated with the ads is honeybooboo96, which rings alarm bells as these vehicles are nowhere to be found. It’s high time eBay is alerted about this dubious activity, especially since when you try calling the provided number, it doesn’t connect at all. I can’t help but speculate about the sort of ruse they’re trying to pull here-definitely not the honest way to earn a living, that’s for certain!

It's definitely a con. Looks like someone's attempting to peddle goods online.

I received a call from the number 0795438960 regarding a 2009 Corsa VXR that reportedly had just 25,000 miles on the clock. However, when I checked the HPI report, it revealed a staggering 92,000 miles instead. The caller mentioned being in Ireland due to work obligations, at which point I decided to end the chat rather quickly.

Received a text from this number after spotting another eBay listing-this one for a VW T5. If you're keen, you can always reach out to [email protected]. However, I’d suggest thinking twice before you do!

I've just had a message from removed embay advert [email protected] inquiring if I’m still keen on getting in touch. The advert is for Georgie Boy Cruismaster American RV.

Came across a Freelander being offered at a rather tempting price. Amy's assertion is to take her word for it, but I wouldn’t be too keen on that. Supposedly hails from Northern Ireland, yet it’s up for grabs in Wiltshire. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Spotted an advert on eBay that seemed like an absolute steal. Got a message from this number asking me to drop them an email. I thought better of it and chose to walk away instead. Not entirely sure what sort of scam they might be up to, but I’m certainly not sticking around to find out!

I spotted a van on eBay that seemed too good to be legitimate. I shot an email to the seller and then got a text directing me to contact [email protected].

Absolutely chuffed I did my homework here beforehand!

I responded to an eBay listing for a Land Rover, and then I received a text from this number prompting me to email amy404 at mdapp.co.uk. I opted not to go ahead with that, as the mdapp domain seemed rather suspicious!

I’ve encountered a similar situation as hers; the name she goes by is Amy, but this number doesn’t seem to connect at all.

I reached out about an item on eBay and got a text from this number suggesting I contact them using an email that isn't associated with eBay. The bizarre thing is, I can't even respond to the message because the number is missing a digit! Very odd situation.

It seems like there are some serious fraudsters targeting motorhome enthusiasts, not to mention who knows what other schemes they’re up to!
