I got a call from this number claiming to be from Visa debit, saying there was a payment of £900 being taken from my account. They told me to press a number to either allow or cancel it. I hung up without pressing anything. Afterwards, I cancelled all my cards and rang my bank, who confirmed it was a typical scam. They never mentioned the bank name, but it’s easy to panic and just press the number without thinking. Also, I used to be with EE until a few months ago but not anymore.
