Got a call from some automated voice claiming it was the Bank of England - apparently they got my number somehow - telling me there were dodgy transactions and that they’d ‘cancel my National Insurance number’. Since when did the Bank of England handle HMRC stuff? Honestly, just blocking that number is the best bet.
