This is the voicemail line for EE, but you’ll also find it’s used by other providers who run on the EE network (the MVNOs). My Android phone, which is connected to Google Business, mistakenly tagged the number as some place called "Golden Dynasty". If you’re on Android, you can hit the icon next to the number and select "Improve Caller ID" to put forward corrections. I went ahead and put in "EE voicemail" for clarity.

For ages, I struggled to get rid of this voicemail. I just saw a few tips here, tried one out, and to my surprise, it actually did the trick. What I did was call my own mobile from a different phone, left a voicemail, then checked it on my handset. I let the message play out fully and that seemed to fix EE’s alert system, stopping it from sending out those annoying false notifications. Glad it worked for me!

Come on, think a bit and actually read the info here. Right at the top of the page, plus in the more clear comments below, there’s plenty of hints about what this number actually is. This thing’s been viewed nearly half a million times, so loads of folks have found a reason to check it out on this site. If it were a scam line, it definitely wouldn’t still be in use after all this time. Scammers usually ditch their numbers way quicker than that.

So this number apparently belongs to Golden Dynasty, but it’s actually the EE voicemail line for 1pm. My phone stopped getting calls and texts for a bit, then out of nowhere I got a bunch of messages from this number claiming to be Golden Dynasty, saying I had missed calls - but there weren’t any missed calls showing up on my phone. The number is 07953 222222, which is EE’s voicemail, but it feels like it’s been compromised somehow.

This is the voicemail contact from EE. I haven’t had any issues with random calls from it. I actually call it myself to check my messages. Seems legit to me.

At first, I figured the number was sketchy, but it wasn’t. I got a call and a voicemail message supposedly left, but when I checked straight away, nothing was there. I later found out that sometimes it takes a bit of time for the voicemail to properly come through. After waiting about 10 minutes, I checked again and that message was indeed from someone I’d phoned earlier that week.

I got a message from this number pretending it was a voicemail from my wife, but she was actually right beside me at the time! Obviously a trick to get me to ring 222, which I wisely didn't.

I tried to block this number when it sent me a voice message through text, but it just wouldn't let me do it! So, I ended up deleting the message instead. There's no way I'll ever pick up if this number calls me again!

I just switched from O2 to you guys last week and honestly, if EE stopped all their endless marketing, that’d be great. If they don’t, they should at least send a proper message to their customers and users - it’d save everyone a lot of hassle and cash. I’m no big star (though he is pretty great), so I guess I’ll skip charging for this rant!

This 07953222222 keeps leaving messages, like, five times daily. Every time I delete one, another pops up straight away. Seems like they want me to set up some kind of recorded voicemail? Got a missed call from this number when I wasn’t near my phone. After checking out what others said about it, I decided to block it. On my phone, I opened the dialler app, then tapped the three dots in the top right corner. From there, I went into settings, found the blocked numbers section, and added the number. Hopefully that’s useful for anyone else struggling with it!

This number first got in touch asking about some software but then started bombarding me with loads of threatening calls. Proper harassing, really.

Got a text super late, like 1:30 am, saying “Voicemail from ########### was left at 00:27 on 30/03. Call 222 to hear it before it’s deleted.” I blocked out the number since it’s my dad’s phone. So I rang my real voicemail provider to check if there was a message but no missed calls showed up? Bit strange if you ask me. Plus, that number’s known for scams, yet somehow it “knew” my dad had left a message? Maybe I’m just missing something here.

I got fed up with a call coming from +447953 222222, it keeps leaving voice messages even after I deleted the original number from my phone. They say you can press No.3 to delete the message but it never works, they just keep sending it again and again. From what I’ve read, this annoying scam’s been going on since 2010 or something.

Got a text on 3rd April 2025 from 07953222222 saying I’d got a call from +447800971522 at 10:13 on 13/3. The message told me to ring 222 to hear the voicemail before it gets erased. Checked the number out on here and decided to just block both and not bother with them.

I've had this number ring me up four times this week alone with a lady's voice saying she needs support to get her business going and asking me to add her on WHATSAPP. Every time I block them, they somehow get through again from 07953 222222. It's so annoying!

Got a call at bloody 2:22 am! I picked up and there was this automated voice telling me to punch in my entire mobile number and then hit # to check my voicemail. It felt a bit dodgy so I just ended the call. I’m with EE as well. Hoping I didn’t mess up by not giving my number, so fingers crossed I’m safe. Blocked the number straight away anyway.

I've had this number ring me about four times in just a few days, they really don't stop. If you pick up, they'll end up charging you for the call. Best just to block it straight away.

So I saw Golden Dynasty popping up in my call history, but it was only for calls I made out. Took me a minute, then I remembered that’s actually the number tied to my voicemail. I’m with 1p mobile, which uses EE’s network, so that’s probably why!

My phone has been acting weird so I tried putting *#61# into my iPhone, and it said something about call forwarding when unreachable set to 07953222222. I gave that number a ring and it claimed to be my EE voicemail, but after chatting with EE, turns out it isn’t. Really relieved I found this site. Anyone know how I can stop this from happening?

I keep getting voicemail alerts from this number, it’s pretty annoying. I accidentally picked up once and there was a friendly sounding voice with a robotic message that wasn’t aimed at me specifically, so I hung up right away. Still, the calls keep coming every day and I have to keep ignoring or cancelling them. Feels like one of those cold calls trying to sell something, or maybe some dodgy caller trying to make profit by keeping people on the line and charging them.

I got a message saying there was a voicemail left from my landline number! When I checked the call log, there were two calls from 2509. Turns out, that’s Tesco Mobile’s voicemail number in my region. Funny thing is, I ditched Tesco Mobile about a fortnight ago after a really rough couple of weeks with them. Looks like they’re still causing me issues even now.

On the 3rd of December 2025, while using EE, I got a voicemail alert on my phone even though it hadn’t actually rung. When I checked the message, it was a man speaking with an accent saying he wasn’t going to buy whatever it was. I called him back to tell him he’d got the wrong number, and he said thanks and hung up. Still, being a bit wary nowadays, I decided to block the number just to be safe.

I got a SIMS alert saying ‘You have 2 new voicemails’. Honestly, I’m pretty wary of voicemail notifications, especially when they’re from numbers I don’t recognise. Usually, I just block the sender and don’t bother listening to the messages.
