Got a call from a supposed Amazon number, saying I needed to pay a monthly fee. I’d just switched to an annual plan and didn't want to be charged twice. They told me to press 1 to speak to someone, so I did, but the person on the other end was impossible to understand and didn't seem to get what I was saying. After about 9 minutes of confusion, I hung up and said I'd handle it over email. My husband reckons it was a scam. Since I never shared any personal info, I’m hoping I dodged a bullet.
