Got a call from someone saying they were from a public advice centre, asking if I’d arranged a funeral plan, especially with covid still around. Quite a shift from the usual insulation sales calls I get. If this is some kind of con, it’s seriously tasteless and could really upset people who are vulnerable.

Some bloke called me saying he was from a home improvements firm about loft insulation. Said he wanted to send someone round to inspect and make sure it met government rules, mentioned we'd had a phone chat before. I told him I didn’t recall any call. He insisted we had some extra insulation added and they needed to check it was all good. I told him we’d had no work done at all and he’d got the wrong address. Then he just said "oh" and hung up! Could be a risk especially for elderly or vulnerable folks.

Got this very cheeky woman on the phone, real pushy and rude. She was trying to scam me, claiming something about roofing. When I asked where she got my info from, she got all hostile. I just ended up blocking the number.

They said it was some government scheme about green energy and wanted to send someone over to inspect the loft insulation. Really pushy and kept saying it was just nearby. When we said we weren't interested, they hung up pretty abruptly, no pleasantries or anything. Felt like it might have been a scam to try and get inside the house.

Got a call from 07951948306 claiming to be from the government about green deals. Honestly, seems dodgy to me, probably a scam.
