Got a call earlier, and the person asked for me using my full name. I said I was busy at work and mentioned I finish at midnight. They wanted to call back at 8am, but I said I’d be asleep then. That’s when they got annoyed and said something like, “I’m from Simple Solutions, you reached out to us, so tell me when to call back.” Didn’t feel like arguing, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Got a spam call the other day, and as soon as I asked who it was, the bloke started getting really rude. So I decided to turn the tables a bit - threw a few swear words back his way and kept the chat going, matching his attitude. After around ten minutes, he asked why I hadn’t just ended the call. I said, "Not my phone bill to worry about, you rang me!" You could almost tell he realised what was going on, then he just cut the call. Proper funny that!

Got a call on 12th December 2017 from a number I didn't recognise, so I just ignored it. They didn’t leave any voicemail or message. Reading through the other reviews, I’m actually relieved I didn’t pick up. I’ve flagged it as dodgy because of what everyone else has said.

Got a call today from some bloke named Lee claiming to be from Citizen Advice. He said I’d been picked for a new govt programme to wipe out my debt. I asked him where he’d got my details from and he got all stroppy, telling me to just be quiet and listen to what he had to say. Yeah right, no thanks!

Got a call from this number asking if I owe any money, I said no. Then they wanted to know my address, so I asked them if they really thought I’d just tell them, and they got it all wrong anyway. They even said my neighbour, someone called Sam Williams, had made a complaint about me. Sounded fishy so I just ended the call. They phoned back later saying they’d seen me outside on the street?? Honestly that gave me chills. Proper creepy.

I got a call claiming I owed some money I hadn't paid. I asked where they had that info from. She just replied, "Isn't that true?" I told her no and pressed again about the source of the claim. Then, she just ended the call on me.

They keep calling me at least five times a week, asking for some Mary Strachen or something. Work means I have to pick up every single call, which is starting to get really annoying. Honestly, if you feel like it, try arguing back. But be warned, they’re familiar with me and pretty much know my responses by now.

So this guy Sean from Credit Check rang me up. Took him ages to sort out what he was actually saying before I realised who it was. I couldn’t help but laugh a bit. Sean didn’t seem happy about it and kept asking why I was laughing. When I told him what a lowlife he sounded, he got pretty annoyed. I just laughed again and cut him off in the middle of his rant. Poor Sean, honestly.

Got a call from a woman with an accent saying she was from Citizens Advice. She did get my name right though. She asked if I had any debts and when I told her she wasn’t really from Citizens Advice, she just cut me off. Looks like I was spot on! What a load of cheek! I’d say just block that number.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming I owed money, which I definitely don’t. When I asked him some questions, he stammered badly and sounded totally lost. I found it funny, but then he started swearing and making threats. I had a good laugh and just ended the call. Like he’s seriously gonna show up at my house and cause trouble for me and my family? Yeah, right. No way I’m giving my info out to people like that.

I've had a call from 07951881040 today, with someone telling me I've got debts. When I asked where they got my number, they said the FCA had contacted them. But I can't get through to them at all. It's really upsetting to think my number might have been shared. I've tried ringing back but just get the answerphone saying the number is switched off. Does anyone know how I can stop this? Somehow they claimed I’ve got monthly debts, which is rubbish. When I asked the woman with the accent to remove me from their calls, she just went “oh alright.” I ended the call and blocked them straight away!

This number wasn't saved in my contacts, so I didn't pick up since I figured if it was important, they'd leave a voicemail. Later, I had a quick look on Who-called and saw loads of people had reported it. Went ahead and blocked it - honestly, I don't know who they are nor do I want to find out.

Loads of calls for some Jackoline I’ve never even heard about, so I asked them nicely to take me off their list. The person on the phone, who sounded like they were from overseas, joked maybe she’s my missus. When I asked to have my number taken off, they said it’s not possible. I then asked to talk to a manager, and the bloke suggested I should probably check who Jackoline is, maybe she’s my soulmate, and then just cut me off. Seriously, watch out for this number. I’m planning to go further with this.

This morning I got a call from them claiming I owe money and that they’re checking my credit history. Complete rubbish! They even messed up my last name. Seriously, don’t pick up if this number rings!

I’m getting really annoyed with all these calls lately. Fingers crossed it doesn’t kick off again, don’t want to have to go through the hassle of changing my number. They’re coming from 07951 on EE network, but I switched over to Tesco mobile now. Only had three calls from them so far, so hopefully that’s it.

Reading the previous posts, it seems connected to a letter I received from Equifax recently warning that my personal info was leaked in their security fail. It's ridiculous how their sloppy handling has caused loads of hassle for loads of folk - honestly, they deserve to be taken to court and closed for good.

Had a call from this number saying they were from citizens advice, telling me that someone had stolen my info and opened three bank accounts using my name. They even said they had contact details for the thief and wanted me to call them. I asked why they hadn’t phoned the police instead, and then the line just went dead on me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the government's fraud office, but they had a really thick foreign accent. When I questioned them, they started acting proper rude and then asked me who I thought *I* was! After that, they just cut the call. What a bellend.
