Got a call from someone claiming to be a consumer group, trying to verify info or something. Didn’t trust it, so I just blocked the number.

I got asked a few questions by some consumer group, then out of nowhere I started getting a bunch of calls from companies trying to sell me things I dont want or need. They act all shocked when you say no thanks. Then I told the consumer group I wasnt interested, but the company said I did, which is rubbish because I said no more than once. Feels like a total scam and pure hassle really.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from a consumer organisation. They kept asking for a person I don't know at all. Even after I told them they had the wrong number, they kept pushing with their questions. I've blocked the number now.

I picked up since it showed a UK mobile number, but it was dead quiet at first. Then, out of nowhere, the classic call centre background noise kicked in, and a woman began yelling my full name (which she obviously butchered) right into the phone. Needless to say, I just ended the call straight away.
