5 yearsGot a message claiming to be from HMRC saying they couldn’t take £349.99 from my bank and asking me to confirm my details at some link (which wasn’t there). For starters, I’m fully up-to-date with my tax. Also, the wording was odd - “we couldn’t debit your payment to your bank”? That’s not how they’d phrase it, usually it’s "debit your account" or something similar. Plus, it came from a mobile number which seems off since HMRC usually don’t contact you like that. Definitely a scam, so best to stay clear!HMRC5 yearsGot a call from someone pretending to be Royal Mail, trying to get me to pay up. Total scam.Royal Mail5 yearsI got a msg about having to pay a postage fee, but don’t click any links or send them money, it’s definitely a scam.5 yearsI got a text claiming to be from Royal Mail saying I owe £2.99 for a parcel I supposedly sent. Funny thing is, I already paid for postage yesterday after printing out the label direct from Royal Mail’s site. The message warned me they’d take action if I didn’t pay up and pointed me to some dodgy website called [#Jroyalmall-support.net]. Definitely looks like a scam to me!Royal Mail5 yearsGot a text saying it was from Royal Mail about a parcel, said I needed to pay £2.99 for shipping. It warned that if I didn’t pay, something bad would happen. Pretty sure it’s a scam.Royal Mail5 yearsGot a message claiming to be from Royal Mail saying I owe £2.99 for shipping. It said I should pay up at royalmail-support net or else there’d be consequences. Definitely feels like a scam to me.Royal Mail5 yearsGot a text like this earlier from "Royal Mail" saying my parcel needed a £2.99 shipping payment, with a link to [#]royalmail-support.net. I’ve seen people warn about these scams recently. They threatened some sort of penalty if the payment wasn’t made. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.Royal Mail5 yearsGot a text saying: "Natwest: a new device was linked to your account at 18.37pm. If this wasn’t you, go to: [#]deregisterdevice-alerts(###)." Totally fishy scam right there. First off, I don’t even hold an account with Natwest. Secondly, I was certainly not setting up anything on my devices at 18.37. And third, why use 24-hour time *and* add pm? Weird. Definitely best to block it and maybe tell Natwest about this dodgy message.NatWest5 yearsGot a message claiming it’s from Royal Mail saying I need to pay postage for a parcel I never ordered. They even threatened to take legal steps! Funny thing is, I got almost the exact same text yesterday but the number was off by just one digit. Quite suspicious if you ask me!Royal MailSubmit Your Own Report (07951 101876)
