Got a message today claiming to be from the DWP saying it was a FINAL WARNING about Winter Heating Allowance cuts. They said they're moving up the Living Allowance payment to help us through winter, offering either £100 or £300. They asked me to apply for the subsistence allowance via a link they included. It warned that if I didn't apply before 6 December 2024, I'd be disqualified and the money would be given to someone else. The link definitely didn’t lead to any official DWP site. Looks dodgy to me, so I'm marking it as spam and potentially harmful. Stay safe out there!
