I got a message from someone saying they were from the census and needed some extra details. Seemed a bit odd to me, not sure if it’s legit or just a scam trying to get info. Anyone else had the same? Feels dodgy to just hand over stuff without checking first.

Beware of this message claiming that your Census form isn’t complete. They ask you to go to [#]census[###]-ons[###] to fill it out, threatening a £1000 fine. Sounds dodgy to me - definitely don’t click that link!

Got a message from this number saying I missed some details on my census form and if I didn’t fix it, I’d get fined £1000. There was a link included but I didn’t click on it. I just blocked the number straight away. There’s scams everywhere now! I’d definitely say this one’s dodgy.

Got a text claiming to be from Hermes about owing customs fees on a package. But I’m not waiting for any parcels from Hermes at all. So yeah, definitely a scam. Don’t click any links sent like that!
