Got a call from 07950541567 saying Royal Mail needed £2 for postage or they’d send my parcel back. I haven’t ordered anything though, so pretty clear it’s a con.

At about 1:30 in the morning, I got a text from a mobile number claiming to be Royal Mail. They were asking for money for some shipping charge or else my parcel would get sent back to the sender. I just deleted it straight away and blocked the number. Total scam!!!

I never received a call, just a text claiming to be from Hermes saying they couldn’t deliver my parcel because the postage wasn’t paid. The message had a link to sort out the payment. Thing is, Hermes only has my email, not my phone number. This is definitely a scam, very risky. Don’t tap on the link! Just block the number and tell Hermes straight away like I did.
