Had a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from BT’s monitoring team - apparently they’d seen dodgy foreign IPs on my line. They wanted me to go to some strange BT security site, which I didn’t do, of course. Instead, I acted like I kept messing up the website address, just to keep them chatting. Ended up stringing them along for about 12 minutes until I told them I’d lost power, and then they finally gave up and hung up. Felt good wasting their time!
