Got a call from what sounded like HMRC, but it was clearly a scam - some robotic voice threatening legal trouble if I didn’t pay up. It’s pretty obvious a scam, but they try to scare you into taking it seriously. Just so you know, HMRC doesn’t randomly ring you to ask for money. When they do contact, which hardly ever happens, they always have actual people speaking and will guide you through the proper official steps.
