Got a ring from this number the other day, with some bloke saying he was from Sky, warning me my internet was being ‘hijacked’ or something. I told him straight away he was trying to con me and cut the call pretty quick.

I got a call on my landline from a mobile number beginning 07, but there wasn’t any voicemail or missed call alert left behind. I checked the number against my mobile contacts, which has pretty much everyone I know saved, and it wasn’t there. Honestly, I can’t figure out who would have my landline number but whose number I wouldn’t know. Usually, companies call from landlines anyway. I’ve tagged this as “unknown”, shared this note here for anyone else wondering, and blocked the number straight away.
