I got a text sayin it was from HSBC about a new payee request made from a device I didnt know. It said I could either cancel or approve it by logging into HSBC. The link looked a bit funny too with blocked-payment[###)/payees/ or something like that. Felt a bit off if you ask me!

Got a message claiming to be from HSBC but it’s definitely a scam. Don’t fall for it!

Got a message saying it was from HSBC about approving or rejecting a new payee. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with them. It had a link to click for either option too. Seems totally dodgy to me.

Got a text that looked like it was from HSBC asking me to approve a payment. The link took me to a page that looked exactly like the bank’s real website. Felt a bit dodgy, so I rang HSBC directly and they confirmed it was a scam.
