I got caught up in one of those crypto scams where they try to buddy up with you first. They were ringing me nearly every single day, after I gave them £250 to start with. Then all of a sudden they demanded £7000, claiming my shares had skyrocketed. I told them no way, it was all just a con to get my money. Another classic excuse they kept using was "Sorry for not getting back to you, I lost my phone." Total scam if you ask me.
