Just got a message from 07960 734902 saying it was 'HSBC'. The text mentioned a 'payment request from Human Tariq' and included a link to click if I wasn’t the one who sent it. Sounds dodgy, so I reckon it’s a scam.

Got a message from HSBC saying there was a payment request for HUMZA TARIQ made through mobile banking on 16/05. If you didn’t make this transaction, they’re asking to check out their site: [#]secured-deautho-payment[###]. Definitely seems fishy if you’re not the one who did it!

Got a message claiming to be from HSBC about a payment request for Humza Tariq on mobile banking dated 26/04. It said if I didn’t make the request, I should check a link ending with .securedaccess[###]. Pretty clear it’s a dodgy scam. I didn’t bother clicking the link. If you get something like this, just ignore it and definitely don’t tap on any of the links. These scammers are absolute muppets!

Got a text from 07398737922, someone called Humza Tariq. It said it was from HSBC, but seemed like a scam. The message had a link that looked like auth-securedaccess[###], but I didn’t dare click it to see where it goes. Keeping clear just in case!

Heads up, got a text from HSBC saying I'd added Humza Tariq as a payee on 21/04 through mobile banking. I definitely didn't do that! The message asked me to go to some link like [#]deregister-secured[###]. Sounds like a scam to me, so be careful if you get it too!

Got a message supposedly from Hermes about a missed parcel. It came at 6.30am saying I didn’t answer a delivery attempted at 7.05am - in the morning, really? I was waiting for a package but having a look at the links, they didn’t take me to any legit tracking info. Also, they asked for my date of birth which struck me as odd, cos I’ve never had to give that to track a delivery before. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

At 3:40 in the morning on Monday 19th April 2021, I got a text supposedly from [#]hermes[###] about a parcel that wasn’t delivered. It felt dodgy since I hadn’t ordered anything, and the company mentioned on the parcel didn’t ring any bells. Seems like a scam to me.
