Got a txt from +447949675684 sayin that payment for my recent bill didn’t go through with my bank, XL I think? Said to report it then delete. Seemed a bit fishy to me!

I received a message purporting to be from HMRC, stating that there's a tax refund waiting for me. It said I need to sort it out by the 15th of January 2021. To claim it, they provided a link: https://gov.uk.refunds-2.com. Seems a bit dodgy to me. Does anyone else think this could be a scam?

Got a text saying hmrc says I've got some tax refund waiting for me or whatever. It goes on about needing to claim it before 15/01/21 or something. Then there’s a link, probably asking for my bank stuff to send the money. Nah mate, that’s a no from me :d
