These scams are awful and they wouldn't keep going if they didn't get some success. I saw a tip from someone else here about how to handle these dodgy calls. Reporting them feels pointless unless loads of people do it and the cops get swamped with reports about scams. I'll definitely report when it happens to me, but honestly, everyone should pull their weight and report these con artists. It’s seriously the only way to put an end to their rubbish.

So it's my birthday weekend, right? Loads of parcels have been arriving since I’m not meeting anyone in person. I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence or because they somehow knew my birthday, but this text popped up from somewhere saying ‘action will be taken’ - like seriously, that gave them away straight away, sneaky buggers!

I was waiting for a parcel that was overdue by over a week but hadn’t gotten any card from them. I clicked the link they sent but got really suspicious when they asked for my bank account number and debit card info. Tried calling Royal Mail with the provided reference, but it didn’t recognise it at all. Felt like a dodgy scam to me.
