I got a call from someone saying I was due a refund from 2010 from a business that had shut down years ago. I knew the company name so I trusted them and gave them my card info. They promised £260 would be in my account by Christmas. But then, within an hour, my card company rang me saying there were two charges over £1600! Apparently this lot was linked to somewhere in Florida? The woman on the phone had a proper English accent though, so watch out, it was a scam for sure.
