Spotted this one right away - it was supposedly from PayPal but the fact it came from a mobile number raised red flags. I blocked it immediately and hope others did the same. Watch out for this number, it’s clearly a scam!

It’s pretty clear this isn’t from PayPal, primarily because their company number wouldn’t be some random mobile one. Plus, the dodgy link ending with 49[###] gave it away. When I looked up the website owner on who.is ([#]who.is/whois/paypal-login49[###]), it turned out the site’s registered in Malaysia, which is defo not where PayPal’s HQ is - they’re based in California. Total scam, no doubt.

Got a dodgy message claiming to be from Paypal with a link in it. I didn't click on it because it felt off. Paypal would never send texts like that anyway. Just logged into my account through the website to double-check everything was fine.
