Got a call today from 07949277224 claiming I’d splashed out £600 on my card. It was one of those automatic messages, didn’t say my name or which bank card was supposedly charged. They said press 1 or 2 to speak to someone. Total scam, I just ended the call straight away.

Got a robocall claiming to be from my bank’s security team. They wanted me to verify two transactions on my account, first one being £149. I just put the phone down straightaway, seemed dodgy to me. Real banks never do that or call from a mobile number without properly identifying themselves.
