Honestly, I do feel a bit sorry for these con artists. I mean, who in their sane mind would call pretending to be from some official body, asking for your personal info to claim Winter fuel money, and then end it with “Hope you have a cosy and warm winter”? What a daft, poorly thought out scam that is! Wish I could just tell them to jog on and go mess about on the M25 or something!
