Got a dodgy call this morning from someone claiming my sim was out of date and about to be cut off. They said they were calling from O2, but I’ve never been with them. I pretended to go along with it, but as soon as they started asking for my details, I told them I was tracing the call and threatened to track them down and give them a good hiding. They hung up straight away. Made for a funny start to my Sunday at half ten!

Got a ring from this number around 10 in the morning on a Sunday. Didn’t recognise it, so I just let it go to voicemail. They didn’t leave any message, so I looked it up here and then decided to block it.

This definitely seems like a scam to me and doesn’t follow the terms of service at all.

When I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end before they just hung up (I didn’t say anything straight away since that’s usually the safest bet). This note comes 22 minutes after checking the number for the first time.
