This morning, just after half past eight, I received a call on my newly installed landline - it’s barely been three weeks since they fitted it and I hardly use it at all. I felt a bit on edge right from the start, particularly when the caller was looking for someone named Tracy. I kept telling them no, but they persisted, asking if I was positive. I repeated my answer a couple of times, and then, seemingly satisfied, they just hung up abruptly. Quite odd behaviour, if you ask me!

Got a call about a household survey the other day, and honestly, they just wouldn’t accept a simple no. Kept pushing and pushing like they were desperate or something. It was pretty annoying, couldn’t get off the phone quick enough.
