I answered a call and a lady with an Indian accent claimed they were verifying a 380 euro payment from my account for an amazon order. They attempt to grab your banking details and personal info - best not to engage with them. Just so you know, I don’t even have an amazon account!

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be from some debt recovery agency, said it was a free government service or whatever. When I asked her where she got my number from, she just ended the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Some woman with an Indian accent rang me up claiming she was calling from some debt recovery company and said it was a free service from the government. But when I asked where she got my number from, she just ended the call straight away.

I picked up, but at first there was silence for a few seconds, then I caught a bit of what sounded like a call centre in the background before the line went dead. Are call centres now switching to mobiles instead of just landlines? Feels dodgy to me. I reckon it's a scam, and honestly, these kinds of calls can be really risky!

I told them to take my number off their list and quit calling me, but they just go ahead and ask for my name before hanging up on me. Totally annoying!
