Just got a message pretending to be from Halifax, saying I paid some bloke called Mr Adams - problem is, I don't even have an account with them! Wouldn't mind being Mr Adams though, looks like loads of people are getting told they’ve sent him money! Definitely a scam!

Got a text from Halifax about a payment but it was for someone I’ve never heard of. The amount was there but they didn’t say who it was meant for or give any more details. Proper confusing!

Got a call from +447947951751 saying that a payment of £370 has been set up to someone called Mr S.Adams. They said if I didn’t make it, I should check out [#]247help-lloyds[###]. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a message saying Lloyds security wants me to verify a debit of £370.00, but I haven’t made any purchase for that sum. The payee’s name is Mrs Adams. If you’re not involved, you might want to get in touch with https//247help-lloyds[###]. Seems dodgy to me!

I got a text claiming to be from Halifax, but I have no idea why because I never shared my number with them. There was a link in the message too, but I’m definitely not clicking on that. Just seems like spam to me.
