Got a call from this number today at 2:03 pm on my mobile. Since i havent added it to my contacts, it just appeared as a missed call. An automated voice came on saying if I owe over £6,000 and can afford £80 a month then I might be eligible for some “debt relief” plan. If this was genuine, why would they be using a dodgy fake mobile number? I’m no detective, but honestly this reeks worse than a bin full of rotten fish.

Tried calling back both numbers but only reached EE voicemail which said their inboxes were full and couldn’t take messages. Feels like a scam to me. No texts or voicemails were left behind. They really should think about how upsetting this could be, especially for older folks or anyone who's more vunerable.
