Got a call from an automated voice saying my Amazon Prime was up for renewal and to ring them back. Thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime, so it’s clearly a scam. What annoyed me was they rang from a mobile number almost identical to mine, so I nearly picked up thinking it was someone I knew. I’ve since blocked the number to avoid any more hassle.

Got a robo call saying my Amazon Prime subscription was about to renew or something and I needed to ring them back. Thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. What made it a bit sneaky was they rang me from a mobile number almost exactly the same as mine, so I nearly got fooled and picked up thinking it was someone I knew. Needless to say, I’ve blocked the number now.
