I got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, telling me my account was being used by someone else. They convinced me to install an app to "secure" my phone against more attempts. But it turned out that the app let them get into my phone. Luckily, I spotted this pretty fast, deleted the app, wiped all the apps that had my money and info, and then I reported it straight to the fraud team.
